HELLstalkers Book Series Goes Live!
Bestselling Authors Joseph Nassise and Jon F. Merz have launched the eagerly awaited HELLstalkers Series with Barnes & Noble. I was brought onto the project to illustrate the cover design for “The Cerberus Protocol” and create other pieces of collateral along with awesome designer Taylor Aldridge, (by the way, I had the honors of modeling for the cover design…)
Previewed is the original design which has been modified due to size constraints on the Barnes & Noble Nook Software, and a military style patch logo that I created for further branding purposes. My most recent painting completed, and quite an accomplishment, over 85 hrs invested, and time to switch gears for a while. The work turned out quite nicely, a little bit more articulate than I would have wanted, but well worth the investment.

I’ve started a new fine art project that has a little bit of a Latin/Caribbean feel to it, throw in a some flavorful indigenous folk art and you have a some nice ingredients for a roots reggae classic or an afternoon lounging by the pool in God’s sunshine. It has a ways to go but already showcasing that island irie vibe.
The Black Keys – Hangout Music Festival
This is a stylized poster design I produced for a Creative Allies competition. The Black Keys will be playing at The Hangout Music Festival, May 22nd 2011, and were looking for a “Fillmore” style music posters… I really enjoyed working on the rough vintage style of this 4-color silk screen print.
